Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova |Book Review| (SPOILER FREE)

So after seeing my friend Cassandra recommend this book all the time I decided to pick it up because Latinx brujas are my weakness.

Let me tell you this book did not disappoint at all! It was an incredible ride all the way through. Also the story is so unique compared to anything I’ve read. I think Labyrinth Lost might be one of my favorite books of the year hands down!

First is all Zoraida Cordova’s writing style is amazing and incredibly beautiful. To me it felt natural. That sounds weird but it just flowed perfectly to me which made reading so much more wonderful. There was never a moment where I had to backtrack because I didn’t catch something or because something didn’t make sense.

Then we have these amazing characters! All of the characters felt incredibly life like! They had their flaws and their strengths like any real person should. Not to mention diversity! Holy cow. That was one of my motivating factors!

Diverse Latinx characters! I could not have asked for more 😭.

Not to mention an amazing and vibrant world that sucks you in and doesn’t let go! Ugh it was just too amazing for me to put it into words!

Overall I would highly recommend checking this book out 🖤. I can’t wait to read the sequel!
