I don’t usually stand by giddy for a new release but sometimes I do. That’s how you know I’m really obsessed about it. Of course I do have some authors that I basically stalk when it comes to them publishing books. What can I say I’m just obsessed. 🤷🏻♀️
I regret nothing. Keep reading if you’re curious about what I’m waiting impatiently for.
Escaping From Houdini by Keri Maniscalco
This is the third book in the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. I am HUGE fan of the series and since Keri Maniscalco is one of my favorite authors I of course need to get my hands on this book!
Funny Enough she will be at BookCon 2018 which I will be attending so I am hoping I’ll be able to get and ARC of the book.
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
As I am writing this this book is actually already out but I haven’t gotten the chance to pick it up yet. I am ACOTAR trash so of course I need this book in my life. It’s much shorter then the other books in the series but I’m sure it’s still amazing.
I’ve heard some mixed reviews about it but I am going to ignore those. Seeing as I love the series I will enjoy just about anything that gives me more information on my favorite characters.
Books A Million has a gorgeous special edition that I’m hoping to get.
Dreadful Company by Vivian Shaw
This is the second book to Strange Practice. I read that book back in October of 2017 and loved it so much. It’s just the perfect thing for me. Plus it has vampires! We all know I can’t turn down a vampire book.
I wrote a post about Strange Practice when I first read it. Strange Practice Review <—- This link will take you to that post if you’re interested!
Anyway! Dreadful Company continues Dr. Greta’s story and I cannot wait to read it!
Hocus Pocus and the All New Sequel by A.W. Jantha
Hocus Pocus is the iconic Halloween time movie at-least in my opinion. So when I was scrolling through Amazon and spotted this I was so excited. The movie is being turned into a book. What makes this even more amazing is that we are finally getting the sequel! I’m not one hundred percent sure how it’s going to work seeing as the witches die at the end of Hocus Pocus but I am excited none the less. This will be the perfect October read!
Stain by A.G Howard
A.G. Howard is my all time favorite author and she is on my list of auto buy authors so does this really come as a surprise? I adore her books they are my all time favorites. Then of course I found out she’s writing a new retelling and I had to add it to my list. This book will be a retelling if the Princess and the Pea. If I know anything about A.G Howard it’s that this will be creepy, beautiful, and absolutely wonderful. I’m obviously very biased but what can I say she’s my favorite! Her books just never disappoint me so I’m sure this one won’t either.
The Hunger Games Anniversary Edition
This one I’m kind of unsure about. I love the Hunger Games! It was the first YA series I had read when I was properly getting into books. Before this I had only read Twilight.
I do love these books and I am currently rereading them. The problem comes with the fact that I’m actually struggling to reread them because they’re such sad books. I have hardcovers of the originals so I’m not sold on getting the new set but I’m still excited to see it!
Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry
This book I heard about through BookTube. The premise of the book sounds like something right up my ally. A catholic school with a group of people who don’t want to conform to everyone’s standards of religion and basically everything else. This book speaks to me on a highly personal level. I am eagerly waiting for this book to come out so I can devour it. Here’s to hoping it’s an amazing read!
These are all the books I could think of! In general I’m always excited about every single book on my wishlist soooo.
Have a great day!
